Hey guys I am back, so I know that we had known the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest Winner, like a couple of weeks ago and the winner was one out of the three countries that I expected to win, which is Sweden, the other 2 countries are undoubtly Russia and coming bact to my list, Italy. Well, at first I had actually hoped that the 1969 incident will not be repeated and I had actually been anticipating for the moment, in which Sweden will win the contest and bring back the contest to either Stockholm, Malmo, Goteborg or any other cities in Sweden, as Sweden had already hosted the contest five times and the last time they hosted it, was in 2013. But coming back to the topic, who should have won the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, is it Sweden, Russia, Italy or Belgium???
The first country that I will mention, will surely be Belgium as you might be having this question in mind, 'What is Belgium doing here? They got the fourth place and you did not mention Belgium before'. Well guys, Loic Nottet is actually starting to rise in his career, as you see Sia had already noticed him from his cover from Chandelier (maybe thats why they did not send Sia), as he did it really well and I called him, the male version of Sia (they are so similar) but lets talk about that in another post. So lets talk about his song, 'Rhythm Inside', its a really nice song, even though they said that he copied it from LORDE's song 'Royals', but I think it only has the same concept. I also think that it could go to the top 5, when I saw his rehearsal and semi-final and it happened. But does it deserve to win, nice song, nice choreography, nice performance and Loic's great vocals, made it amazing but I don't think that it can win this year (it happened), maybe another year. As this song is nice but its just not that song for 2015, so I did not even predicted that it will win, even though his performance in Vienna was STUNNING.
Second, lets talk about Italy, the trio Il Volo, with their song Grande Amore which means Great Love, its a romantic song and I actually love Italian love songs, so I fell in love with it, especially because its popera and I adore operatic voices. The trio, performed really well in the Grand Final, they won the televoting but I think the juries, wants something that is more about peace and unity so yeah. But even though I don't understand it, I still like the song, its like listening to a song that you don't understand but you can feel it and I feel the love, in the song, Il Volo really expressed their feelings, so the song did give a great love. Well this song, might sound simple but still you get the feel, that Il Volo is expressing their Grande Amore towards the listener. About Il Volo, they are an Italian trio, consisiting of Gianluca Ginoble, Piero Barone and Ignazzio Boschetto and they are actually big stars already.
Next lets talk about the only girl here, Polina Gagarina from Russia with her song 'A Million Voices', this is actually a really really really nice anthemic song as she knows, which part should be sung by her and the others. This song is about peace and because it was about peace, some rude people booed her, thanks to those LGBT rights thingy and please note, that Russia is currently having war in Ukraine. Actually, I realized that the Tolmachevy Sisters last year are kind of strong compared to Polina and I am not being offensive, but really booing someone just for their country, hello haters!!! please wake up from your dreams. They even booed her when she got 12 points and she cried, I mean she really rocked the stage with her stunning performance, promoting peace to the world and to be honest, she did better than Tolmachevy. I believe that its fine for her to cry, she needs to express her feelings and she does not deserved being booed and basically, I agree that this song is about the world sharing love and unity but the booing part, she does not even deserve that and I believe that there are people taking things too politically, despite remembering about what the hosts had already said. Basically, this could have caused a tie if the song, is not from Russia and there is another reason that you can relate with the song heroes, if you understand what I mean. Well about Polina, she is an established Russian singer and I believe that she is a hero too and last but not least, she sure gave a stunning performance in Vienna.
To unite people in the world and make peace, we need a hero and who could be that hero, well to make something good, we need to risk something and handled it positively not negatively and that makes us a hero as we are fighting for the good. So, lets talk about Sweden now, Mans Zelmerlow with his song 'Heroes', this song actually about peace and unity too but on how do we handle it individually, as we should do small things first inorder to make a big difference. I know that some of you may think, that I will praise this entry because of the performance but no I want to focus on the meaning. Well, this is a great song even though people say that this one, is copying David Guetta's 'Lovers of the Sun' and Avicii, but like Belgium's case its just the style and you should actually know, that there are some winners from the previous year that does not copy the style only but the exact same song, well I won't mention on who it is. The first thing that I would love to tell you, is that this song is better than David Guetta's as it has a really good meaning in it, so basically it deserved to win. About on how do I relate it with Russia, is that this song teaches us that being a hero, is to stand up for ourselves by giving revenge in a positive manner (like handle things positively), which will not only change the way the bully treats you but also change the bully, so that it will be something good for us and the surroundings. As this songs says that, we could be heroes no matter who we are, where we are or what we are, as being a hero, is being someone who fights the bad, by handling things positively not negatively, which can be seen from the part, 'We are the Heroes of our time/But were dancing with the demons in our mind/ We could be heroes' (please note I skipped some parts). About the word dancing with the demons, it means that we cannot be a hero as all we want to do is give revenge negatively. So, this song really deserves to win, as Sweden also has good political relations with other countries.
Well guys, thats my opinion and how did I relate Sweden and Russia, basically it is relating the song 'Heroes' with Polina, who did not complained when people booed her and when she was given strange questions, which is not about her or her song. She could have complained to the people but she did not and she became a hero out there, she did not scream at them nor complain, when she was asked strange questions about the LGBT thingy, she handled it calmly and answered it pretty well, even though she might complain about that person, as you could actually call that defaming and I am not being offensive.
Well guys, I am so sorry that in this post that I am being kind of offensive and too defensive, about my favorites. So, I would like to apologize for my words and I hope that you like it, thanks for reading and feel free to comment below. Once again, I am really sorry about my mistakes in this post and thanks a lot for reading, I really appreciate that guys.
