Eurovision fans at school #1 Studying History

Hey guys, I am back and sorry that I haven't posted anything for a few days, as I went on a hangout with my friends-as the holidays in my school start by mid-May, then I got tired the day after and eneded up sleeping the whole day, the day after. But now guys, lets comeback to the things that I had learnt in Eurovision, which is a subject that students usally hate in school, as its only about memorizing dates and events, that had already happen, which is (drum rolls please), HISTORY. Basically, the only thing that I like from this subject is only because of the events, as it sounds cool but the best thing, that I like about it is that, Eurovision had helped me in memorizing history, which works the best at the history of Europe. So, history is NOT my favorite subject and I will not have it in grade 9, well about my favorite subject, my all time favorite is English (especially language), as it is about writing and I love writing, I also like literature too as it  helps me in understanding the story even better, as reading is my hobby.

So, what had I learnt about History from Eurovision, basically I can finally know on which countries are the ex-Yugoslavia, ex USSR, Baltics and the others-as the only one that I knew in the past, was only Scandinavia, as my have a Swedish Uncle. Basically, Eurovision has already taught me many facts, about the European History, especially the leaders of the country. But when you come to one point, I am not that type of person who really loves memorizing, so while studying History, I usually turn it into a musical, well that was the time when I started singing again, so I usually sing whilst studying History but it also happens for Geography too (maybe I will also make a post about that), maybe one day I will do a musical based on Eurovision songs.

I am actually wondering if you are about to ask, if I learnt anything from this year's Eurovision, as the slogan is 'Building Bridges' and there was one country, which made a band from 5 different continents (Asia, Africa,America,Europe and Oceania/Australia) and the country itself, which results in making a six membered supergroup and basically, you can guess which country sent it, and yes it is Armenia with Genealogy and the song 'Face The Shadow' (formerly named as 'Don't Deny') and they were sent, in order to symbolize the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Well, they actually make some thing like the five petal forget-me-not flower, which I read from an article in wikipedia,so the Armenia Armenian is in the middle, while the one that comes from different continents of the Armenian Diaspora, surrounds her. Well the forget-me-not flower, is the symbol for the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Well guys, thats one thing that I had learnt from the Eurovision which is related to History, actually there are more Historical facts that I learnt from the Eurovision but maybe, it will be a bad idea, as I may turn this article into an article in your history textbook and please note, that History is not my favorite subject but I do like learning the History of countries, as soon as it is not about memorizing the whole things, with the exact words I will be fine with it. So, guys this is my last post and thanks for reading, I really appreciate that and please feel free to comment, plus tell me about what had you learn from the Eurovision.
